Shinoda 125-inch curved plasma

The Japanese display start-up, Shinoda Plasma, is well on the way to commercializing a 3-meter wide flexible plasma display and expects the first models to appear next year.
The 125-inch display is made using a proprietary plasma array technology developed with the first screens aimed at public display applications. A prototype on show at the FPD International exhibition that opened in Japan on Wednesday.
The display weighs a lightweight 7.9-pounds and manages 960 x 360 pixels from a trio of joined, 1-meter wide (1-mm thin!) flexible plasma panels.
The Shinoda display has a planned production for April/May of next year

Nissan drops 370z ahead of LA Debut!

Ahead of the LA Auto Show, shots of the 2010 Nissan 370z were made available this morning. Not many details have been released, but its suspected that the sports car contains the new 3.7L V6 as used in the Infiniti G37. The new Z goes on sale early in 2009.
